Residential development on previously undeveloped land at Perry Street, Tatworth, Somerset to provide up to 97 residential dwellings.

Informed through the commissioning of traffic & speed surveys, we worked alongside Angus Meek Architects in determining a suitable location for the site’s proposed vehicular access arrangements, and provided a preliminary design to demonstrate its appropriateness in relation to the highway network.

We subsequently carried out junction modelling (using PICADY) of the proposed site access, which demonstrated that the junction would operate well within theoretical capacity, with minimal queuing and delay.

Our Experts’ Input:

We liaised with officers from Somerset County Council throughout the project and were successful in achieving a positive consultation response.

We also attended a public consultation event on behalf of the developer to provide representation on transport and highway matters.
