Redevelopment of the Marshgate Industrial Estate in Stratford, London to provide circa 300 new homes.

Marshgate Industrial Estate, London

Our Services:
Transport Planning

The former Marshgate Industrial Estate is proposed to be redeveloped to provide in the region of 300 new homes with very low levels of car parking.

The site includes a safeguarded strip of land to provide a new sustainable transport link over the Bow Back River. We worked alongside Hawkins Brown Architects and Fabrik Landscape Architects.

Our Experts’ Input:

Working with the Design Team, we helped achieve an efficient layout on a constrained site, helping to maximise residential densities.

We liaised with London Borough of Newham (LBN) and Transport for London (TfL) officers to ensure that the scope of our reports were as far as possible agreed prior to submission. Our work also included liaising with the Landscape Architect to achieve a compact strategy for refuse vehicle access, minimising the impact upon the public realm / landscape works.
