Promotion of Sustainable Modes of Transport
Both local and national planning and transport policies encourage more sustainable patterns of travel through the appropriate location of development, encouraging mixed uses and giving greater attention to the needs of pedestrians, cyclists and public transport users in the planning of new developments.

In addition, we can undertake sustainable transport audits, whereby we visit a site to determine the existing availability of walking, cycling and public transport infrastructure, to demonstrate that the site can be accessed by a choice of transport modes.
We can also undertake this service in relation to the initial feasibility of a development, to ascertain whether or not there is the likelihood of a site being granted planning consent on the basis of its transport accessibility credentials.
