pp1acf8808.png
CEC is very experienced in relation to sport and leisure projects, and have an excellent understanding of the engineering-related challenges associated with new or extended stadia, sports pitches, leisure centres, golf courses and other sports facilities.

Working with organisations such as Premiership football clubs and the organisers of the 2012 Olympic Games, CEC is able to provide a range of services for Sports Facilities including:

Transport Assessments;
Travel Plans;
Flood Risk Assessments;
Spectator Movement / Access Strategies;
Match Day / Event Car and Coach Parking
Management Strategies;
match day travel planning;
supporter travel surveys;
car park layout design;
drainage strategy; and
detailed on and off-site infrastructure
design.

Many of these CEC services will often be required to support planning applications for new or enlarged stadia and other sports facilities.

We also provide technical input to the preparation of Environmental Statements, and can assist with feasibility studies in connection with planning for new sites.  We can provide representation at planning appeals and public inquiries.
